Mark Shekter is co-founder and CEO of Think8 Systems, a Strategic Business Design Firm, consulting to companies, agencies and corporations worldwide specializing in media strategy, branding, and innovative business models.

In addition to Think8, Mr. Shekter is the co-founder and CEO of First Star International, a media production and communications company. He has been a senior broadcast executive for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and CanWest Global Television, and is an internationally renowned TV and Film producer, writer and composer. He is responsible for over a 1000 hours of programming, seen on major networks and cable channels in over 80 countries. His shows have garnered major national and international awards including: Emmys, Parent’s Choice Awards, New York Critics Circle, and the Rose D’Or, Europe’s top television honour. As a writer and composer, Mr. Shekter has worked with the world’s top stars, including: Ray Charles, Steve Martin, Jim Carrey, Elton John, Ella Fitzgerald, and Martin Short.
